Work with natural materials

Working with natural materials at the primary school stage of education is essential for building a vigorous and time-sustaining relationship with nature. Through them, children's spirit of discovery is strongly encouraged, and they learn to find the direct relationships between natural gifts and their application in everyday life. Also, the youngest train the ability to see the beauty and perfection in every element created by nature, how it harmonizes and complements everything else in the environment, and how this particular element can be arranged with a different purpose in our human activities.

Working with natural materials helps develop the aesthetic sense, unleashes the imagination, and stimulates the creation of personal creativity that is sustainable and environmentally friendly over time. These are the first steps necessary for a future discoverer, scientist, artist, or something else to learn to create its work.

Our youngest students work with natural materials at least once a week, and this skill complements and flows into other activities of interest.
