Work with natural materials

Working with natural materials in primary education is essential for fostering a deep, lasting connection with nature. This hands-on approach ignites children’s sense of discovery, teaching them to recognize the direct link between nature’s gifts and their practical use in daily life. Young learners are encouraged to appreciate the beauty and perfection of every natural element - how it harmonizes with its surroundings and how it can be repurposed creatively in human activities.

Working with natural materials helps develop aesthetic sense, sparks imagination, and inspires sustainable, eco-friendly creativity that endures over time. These early experiences lay the foundation for future innovators, scientists, artists, and creators to develop their unique contributions to the world.

Our youngest students engage with natural materials at least once a week, integrating these skills into various other interest-driven activities, enriching their overall learning experience.
