General Information – Admission

 

Private Primary School "AC – Arcus Junior" will admit 20 first-graders for the academic year 2025/2026. The admission procedure includes an interview with the parents, as well as a school readiness assessment and evaluation of the child. The procedure is carried out by a committee consisting of: primary school teachers, an external expert/mediator, a psychologist, and the school principal. The total duration of each interview is approximately 20 minutes.

Admission Process
 1. Welcoming the Family
The process begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the entire family in the first room.
 2. Child Assessment
The child is greeted and introduced to a teacher, who then accompanies them to the second room. Here, the educators interact with the child, ask questions, and engage them in various play-based activities, ending with a drawing session. A psychologist observes the interactions between the child and the teachers, providing support as needed.
 3. Meeting with the parents 
Meanwhile, in the third room, parents meet with the director , deputy director , and a teacher to discuss the admission process and any questions they may have.
 4. Final Evaluation
After all meetings are completed, the team of specialists gathers to review and assess each child’s performance. Based on their observations, they finalize the list of students accepted into the first grade.

The registration fee is 120 BGN; the registration period is from March 17th to March 27th, 2025. The date for the interviews with the candidates is March 29th, 2025. If necessary, meetings might be scheduled for the following day, 30th of March.
